This ATSF group totaled 1000 cars in 1973, and features a distinctive body style of combination closed-hole/open-hole side posts. The Tangent replicas mirror their ATSF prototypes with Gypsum roof walkways and matching end crossover platforms, Universal power brake and brake wheel, and body-mounted brake hardware. Underneath, the models come equipped with Keystone “Portloc 2” outlet gates and 100-ton Barber S-2 trucks with accurate “Brenco-6” rotating caps.
