Cool Cabooses for Your Eastern Lines
Based on a car designed by the United States Railway Administration (USRA) during World War I, this steel caboose became a fixture on many northeastern railroads. Over 40 different lines owned cars of this type and some saw over 60 years of service.
This model comes fully assembled and ready for service. Each authentic replica has the correct weight for optimum operation and over 75 separate parts including complete interior with potbelly stove, sink and bunks, plus a complete underbody with brake cylinder, control valve, air reservoir, brake rods and clevises. They're equipped with scale size handrails and grab irons and RP-25 metal wheels. The cars ride on authentic Bettendorf swing motion caboose trucks and include PROTO-Max die cast knuckle couplers.
